With a surname that means “fisherman’, Fons de Visscher opened his first fish shop in Helmond in 1984, beloved by locals from afar. The first Seafood Bar he opened in 2012 on the Van Baerlestraat, Amsterdam, which along with his son and daughter grew into an iconic fish restaurant known for its long lines.

A true family business without investors, we take pride in our work. With hard work, respect for pure craftsmanship, and always putting quality first, it developed in the institution it is today.
